Product Development

At Panel Shore, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation to create sustainable solutions for the construction industry. Our product development process is characterized by meticulous research, iterative design, and various testing methods to ensure the delivery of high-quality, environmentally-friendly products to our customers.

Conceptualization

Sketches and Ideation

Our journey begins with brainstorming sessions and conceptual sketches. Our team of engineers and designers collaborate to explore creative solutions that leverage recycled PET for various non-structural applications.

Design

CAD Drawings

Once we identified promising concepts, we transitioned to the design phase. Using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, we refine our ideas into detailed 3D models, optimizing for functionality, durability, and manufacturability.

Prototyping

3D Printing and Prototyping

With CAD drawings as our guide, we move on to prototyping. Using cutting edge 3D printing technology, we produce physical prototypes to test and validate our designs before proceeding to full-scale production.

Testing

Conceptual Testing Procedures

Testing is a crucial step in our product development process. We subject our prototypes to a battery of tests to assess their performance under various conditions, including:

  • Structural integrity

  • Weather resistance

  • Long-term durability

Testing Softwares:

THERM - THERM uses two-dimensional (2D) conduction and radiation heat-transfer analysis based on the finite-element method, which can model the complicated geometries of fenestration products and other building elements. The results from THERM's finite-element analysis of a fenestration product or building component can be viewed as:

  • U-factors,

  • isotherms,

  • color-flooded isotherms,

  • heat-flux vector plots,

  • color-flooded lines of constant flux,

  • temperatures (local and average, maximum and minimum).

WUFI - WUFI 2D is software for simulating how heat and moisture move through building materials. It predicts things like moisture content, temperature, and humidity within building components to help prevent problems like mold and decay.

Interaction and Refinement

Continuous Improvement

Based on the results of our testing, we iterate on our designs, making refinements and enhancements to address any identified issues or areas for improvement. This interactive process ensures that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
